My teeth become yellow near gum lines after scaling even when I brush two times a day. I am thinking to go for teeth polishing. Will it remove my remaining enamel also?

Lybrate-userstaining as v may call it can also be subsequent to faulty habits like taking too many beverages like tea n coffee. Or any kind of medicines. N more so improper brushing technique. It is highly impossible to get rid of them unless the actual source of your problem is reached. I m not familiar with the term tooth polishing as such but bleaching definitely is considered for highly stained teeth. But it is only recommended after a thorough assessment of the oral hygiene n present condition. I would recommend you check on your brushing technique. Use a good soft bristled toothbrush n a nice fluoridated toothpaste. Try n brush in circular motion from your gums to your teeth. Check on your habits. If there is any medical history you have kindly write to me about so that I may help you accordingly to see if there's any connection. Meanwhile it would be excellent if you get in touch with a good periodontist in your area and get your teeth and gums examined personally as a personal assessment gives a better picture of the problem. Good luck.

Polishing will not remove enamel normally for everybody the tooth is yellower near the gums than the edge side. If it is a external deposit then scaling and polishing will help. Make sure you brush all tooth and its surfaces properly.
