Hi, me and my husband was trying to have a baby for almost years now, my period is irregular and I have pcos, when I got consulted with my gyne, dr.prescribe me duphaston 2x a day for 5 days, folic acid once a day and metformin 2x a day. When I finish my duphaston tablet for 5 days, after 3 days I got my period but a light period only that last for 2 days only with a bad menstrual cramps, and my Dr. Note in my prescription to review 2nd and 3rd day of menstruation, what does it mean exactly? Is this normal when on this treatment? Is it possible to get pregnant while on metformin and folic acid treatment for 3 months? I appreciate your advices.

You can take all the above medicines, but do ovulation monitoring to find out your ovulation timing and have timed intercourse. In case your cycles are anovulatory, you may need ovulation induction.
