Dear doctor, my father tested covid - 19 positive with following parameters rt - pcr - 28 ct value - 28 60% lung involvement due to covid infection spo2: 94 he was admitted for 5 days, given 6 remdesivir injection, now discharged with 97% spo2 no any breathing difficulty or complaint my question is spo2 reading fluctuate between 93 to 97 in figure tip oxymeter it's normal or need any serious attention?

If the SPO2 reading drops below 95% when checked between an interval of 5 minutes, then he will require urgent attention. But since he was discharged at 97% SPO2 there is nothing to worry about. The readings can be checked on both hands using the Pulse oximeter. Fluctuations will occur but you can see the average reading and that will help you decide if they require urgent care or not.
