Hi, Metabolism drops by 10% when you sleep. During the day metabolism is very high, If you sleep in the day the metabolism will drop,especially post meal leading to weight gain.After meal blood rushes to the stomach and sleeping will reduce its flow further causing fat to deposit in the belly area. Sleep early at night for 8-9 hours will help.

Hello, if we are sleeping immediately after lunch then it may cause gain in weight. One should keep a gap of 2 hours between meal and sleep for proper digestion.
