For braces the costing may vary from 25 thousand to lakhs of rupees. The traditional metal braces are much cheaper if you compare them with aligners which I assume you are talking about invisible aligners i.e invisalign. You have to be dedicated and calm and must have alot of patience when we do our orthodontic treatment. So go accordingly. For esthetics you can go for tooth coloured or ceramic braces. Hello lybrate-user, hope you are doing well. Braces are of three types metal, ceramic and clear aligners. The best out of three is clear aligner as it is custom made, discreet and are removable hence making them ideal for anyone. Sadly these features also makes them the most expensive, ranging from 60,000 to 1lac and above. Ceramic braces are tooth coloured braces. These braces are also discreet i.e they are not very visible but they are fixed in your mouth. Ceramic braces fall under mid range cost i.e from 30,000 to 55,000. First of all I would say check with your dentist what kind of case it is and if at all alignment correction is needed. Then comes the selection process, only if you are too concerned about your aesthetics during the transition period and you have a good budget then only go for clear aligners (again complex cases not possible). If you are looking for the one which is gonna cost you less and solve your issue in the quickest possible time frame, go with standard metal braces. Take care.
