My blood sugar levels pp170 & hb1c is 6.9 what drugs I can use generic name only at present I take metformin 500 with glimpride 2 mg.

With 6.9 hba1c years pp 170 means, your fasting is toward ok but post meal is not control. Diet control and exercise is important. check daily basis fasting and pp and consult to a diabetologist. A drug which controls post-meal blood sugar needs to add.
