Hi, I have gone through finger surgery on 11th April. titanium rod has been fitted with 8 stitches. stitches are removed 3 days back. I want to know when can I start doing my finger exercises? Is it too soon? Should I keep the scar open even after removing stitches?

Hi Lybrate-User, you can keep the scar open as stitches are already removed means your stitches are healed and scar is also healing without pus or infection. Make sure to clean it regularly during bath. You can start exercising after 1 month or as suggested by your physician. You can consult me at Lybrate for homoeopathic treatment and further guidance.
