I am having pcod. Doctor asked me to take primolut n for 3 cycles, after every 45 day cycle. Usually I have irregular cycles. Previous doctor asked me to take for 3 month's (for every 28 days cycle) I didn't ovulate. Again for a 60 day cycle. I didn't ovulate. Later on she tried hcg. Still I didn't ovulate. Now my present doctor was about to start letrozole from today (2nd day of my period) but after ultrasound, she didn't prescribe letrozole. But she is again asking me to take primolut n tablet for a 45 day cycle. And repeat it for 3 cycles. I am really getting frustrating and depressed. Why didn't my doctor start letrozole today. After seeing scan report she said I have cysts on my right ovary. My previous doctor said that I should go for laparoscopic surgery. I was scared so I changed doctor. Now what should I do. Shall I take primolut n for every 28 day for 3 months. I am planning to join gym. Will it help me to ovulate? Please help me. I am 26 years old .married for one year months.

Pcos needs a healthy lifestyle and exercises. Yet since it is a hormonal problem, just exercising may not solve all the problems. Some non hormonal medicines are available for pcos which can be tried. You can ask your doctor about it. For more information, you may contact me.
