I am 20 and I have teeth that are slightly pushed to the front. And for this I have never gone through a fixed orthodontic treatment, never worn fixed braces. But I did wear corrective retainers for a year about four years ago and that helped. Now I want to get retainers again, do I need an x-ray before getting retainers?

Hi....Retainers don’t require any X-ray. But according to your age you should think of taking a fixed orthodontic treatment.

Retainers may not be possible now let a orthodontist evaluate your case.
