Hi Mr. lybrate-user, for your age your metabolic rate will be less compared to others and your physical activity level also would be reduced. You can start reducing your weight with simple tricks. - kick start your exercise minimum 30 mins everyday with pre work out snack. - take some foods which will improve your metabolism like green tea, nuts, lime, raw veggies fresh seasonal fruits, yogurt etc.- particularly for a better bmr start taking small frequent meals instead of 3 bulk meals.
