My wife's age 41 suffering from severe pain at the time of periods every month last year tested by doctor told small cyst in left overy medicines used for 4 months after ine year yesterday tested again the cyst increased in size doctor suggested to remove them by operation and told to remove the uterus also if required there is no problem in periods but pain is more so we prepared for removing both but which method is advisable laparoscopy or manual doctor asked to decide us I request you to give me suggestion to go for operation Some people told me for manual but most suggested for the first only As a doctor please suggest the method Also can you tell the amount required to do this Waiting for your reply.

Each procedure has advantages and disadvantages. In Laproscopy first puncture has slight increased complication but advantages are less post operative pain and less hospitalisation. depending on surgeon's expertise in one or other procedure makes difference
