I had vaginal itching and I consulted the gynaecologist. She gave canesten vaginal tablet and cream .when inserting tablet it burns slightly for some time till it dissolves. And outer thighs also itch. May I know why.

Hi lybrate-user Burning is just a mild side effect of vaginal tablet. Just take a few precautions 1. Keep vaginal area dry 2. Do not use irritating soaps 3. Use cotton undergarments 4. Use cold water to soothe burning.
