I had taken full course of ARV rabipur in 2016 for animal exposure and then then took 2 booster doses in 2017 february for a dog scratch. But 2 days back, I was bitten by my vaccinated pet cat, I cleaned my wound with water, soap, dettol and iodine. But I went to medical college and the doctor told me to take full dose of ARV and TT plus injection equirab immunoglobulin. I have taken the dose of TT and 1 abhyarab vaccine. But do I really need to take rabies immunoglobulin as I was previously vaccinated?
