Hi, On the 42 day from a possible HIV exposure (unprotected oral on me and I had on her), as per the doctor guidance underwent Western blot test, hsvI&II, VDRL,hcv, tpha, hbs ag, urine complete analysis _ all result were nonreactive / negative. tongue is slightly white coloured - bad taste mettalic kind, no other issue. When all test are negative why it's white tongue? Do I need to anymore test or medication for white bas taste tongue/mouth. Please suggest.

1. Western Blot is never done as a screening test for HIV. You should get a 4th generation Ag/Ab test at this point and the results should be almost confirmatory. 2. Metallic taste over tongue may be because of certain medications you may be taking. Chewing on cloves/cardamom/salty toffees often help get over the bad taste. May need to look at your prescribed medications and tests to point out the real issue. Happy to provide further help over private consult.
