Hi. I am a 21 year old guy. I had an acl tear and I had a surgery 1 month ago. Now I can walk slowly and carefully. Pre operation and pre MRI, a doctor wrote that I had plc injury. I still feel some pain on the external side of my knee joint. I am really worried what is it? Why is it and what should I do? I consulted to my surgeon and he said that these uncomforts are normal after acl reconstruction. Please help.

You should get a rehab protocol for the next 6 months in writing from a physio. You can share that with me and will take a look. Do not worry about the pain, use a lot of icing and the right exercises.
