Need an anesthesia for an operation but they have refused it because as per the x ray, heart beat is fast and he does not smoke n drink. He is 75 and having a spondylitis too on his back, can not move his neck. Please suggest.

Hello. A mole over the face can usually be removed by local anesthesia. If you are saying its large, near to the eye and if a malignancy is detected in biopsy, then a large excision has to be planned and an appropriate cover as well. However this can also be done in local if he is unfit for any other kind of anesthesia. But the surgery has to be done, if the biopsy has stated it to be malignant. Please take another opinion for the same. You can also text me with the picture of the mole and the treatment details he is taking. May be I can help you more.
