I'm 61 year old undergone angioplasty staenting one and half year ago. I am on anti coagulants. Can I go for cataract surgery. What precautions I need to take. Kindly advise.

1) Since it has already been one year since stenting you should contact your treating cardiologist for reduction in your blood thinning medications. 2) You will need a clearance and directions about stopping and restarting of these blood thinners by your cardiologist, for which they will get a stress echo done for you to see how your heart is functioning. IF they find the tests normal you can undergo surgery. So kindly get in touch with your treating cardiologist.
