Hi My mother is suffering from oral thrush candidiasis from lat 5 /6 years. Inspite of several medication it could not be healed out. I am unable to find doctor specialist in treating this. Can you please advice good doctor?

It takes time to heal. 2016 revision of the�clinical practice guideline�for the management of candidiasis lists a large number of specific treatment regimens for�Candida�infections that involve different�Candida�species, forms of antifungal drug resistance, immune statuses, and infection localization and severity normally a dentist would prescribe an antifungal cream like candida containing clotrimazole if they do not work then, fluconazole is the proven treatment. In severe cases amphotericin B will be prescribed also it is important your mother uses chlorhexidine mouthwash regularly. And in case she is wearing dentures she should wash them and keep them clean also. And she should not be on any steroid treatment etc. Also it is importa if it doeant get treated.
