About Imidapril

Imidapril is used for the treatment of high blood pressure. It helps in lowering high blood pressure. Imidapril expands the blood vessels for proper flow of blood. It helps the heart in pumping blood through the blood vessels to the body.

Apart from the benefits, this medicine also has few side effects. Possible side effects include headache, dizziness, light headedness, impaired vision, breathing problems, rash or itching, allergic reactions causing swollen face or throat, blistering of skin and yellow skin.     This medication falls under the category of a synthetic anti-hypertensive agent. It inhibits angiotensin-converting enzyme preventing the conversion of Angiotensin-I to Angiotensin-II.
