Swollen lymph nodes is an abnormal condition when the lymph nodes in the body grow larger in size and can be felt when touched. The lymph nodes are a part of the immune system and filter lymph as it flows through them. Lymph nodes swell up when the body gets infected by bacterial or viral infections. They are usually painless and move easily when pushed. They are commonly found to occur when you have a sore throat or have caught a cold.
HOW IS SWOLLEN LYMPH NODES DIAGNOSED?
In rare cases, cancers can cause enlargement of the lymph nodes.
