It can result in various complications like hemorrhage and inflammation. Though no such symptoms are seen usually, abdominal pain, bloating, flatulence and a change in bowel habits are observed in some cases. Proper diet and consumption of antibiotics help in simple cases. Whereas, surgeries are needed in complicated cases.
