1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning 2. Don't overeat 3. Yoga definately helps you to reduce your weight, try surya namaskara every day.
Take plenty amount of water.
Since you are female, are you suffering from any irregular periods or heavy or scanty flow during your periods. If so the weight gain may be due to hormonal imbalance. Consult the doctor.

Avoid taking spicy and fatty food, eats lots of green vegetables and drink lots of water. Quit smoking and alcohol. Regularize your time of eating and sleeping. Keep at least 2 hours gap between eating and lying down.
Take cap. Pantocid dsr once daily, syp. Digene 10ml three times a day and isabgol husk 3tsp in warm milk at bedtime. This should help.
