Please do not think about it now as you cannot change the situation and trust your own natural immunity to take care of healing.
Continue with your antibiotics and pain killers.
If pain persists/ whitish appearance arises with bad smell- visit a good dentist immediately.

Extractions of wisdom tooth can be painful at times as it requires a lot of bone cutting. It is normal to have pain and swelling for 10 days so need to worry. Tell your dentist to prescribe good medications and painkillers as per your health and age.

If the teeth is erupted completely its simple to extract, so a dentist is more than enough, and no complication at all.
But should be careful if you are diabetic or any other medical problems.

Hi,
There are no side effects after extraction only certain restrictions post extraction. Mild discomfort, pain etc will be there which will subside with the prescribed medication.
Usually third molar erupts in a slightly deviated manner .An oral surgeon is specialized in removal of such teeth .but an experienced dentist also can do the treatment.

Hi, I am 32 years old female. I had oral submucosa fibrosis for two yr. Last year in June it was operated by buccal pad reconstruction. The doctor removed the left side lower wisdom tooth and the second molar also. I had all impacted wisdom tooth. In August 2016 I was asked to open the mouth forcefully and continue exercises. The mouth opening was increased a lot, like 1.5 cm to 3.3 cm. Under general anesthesia. But it is still not stabilized yet. The rest of the upper wisdom teeth were removed last month as they suddenly came out in bad way. But the second molar in the upper left side is pressing / biting the gum a big way. It has produced a huge wound and a lump of gum tissue in the wisdom tooth area. My doctor grinded that tooth several times but failed. Please suggest something. I am taking mouthwash daily and Kenacort ointment. Should I go for the tooth extraction?

This will keep on happening periodically as tooth continues to move down untill it meet any stop. This condition is known as supraeruption. Remedy for this is replacement or lower second molar or extraction of upper second molar. But better treatment option can be suggested only after clinical evaluation. So ask your dentist to give yo...more

Hello, you can do warm salt water rinses as a home remedy, but this will give only temporary relief from pain. You need to visit a dentist get it checked. Get an x-ray done. The best treatment for the wisdom tooth is to get it removed.

Hello, visit a dentist and get it checked, if required get an X-ray done. The removal of wisdom tooth can cost you around Rs 1000- 5000/- depending upon the severity of the case, position of tooth, the dentist and the locality of the clinic.
