No its not mandatory to remove wisdom tooth. If its partially impacted or tilted toward adjacent tooth then it can be removed. But if it is properly in place with adjacent tooth it can be saved by root canal treatment but make sure the tooth is not extremely or grossly decayed.

Hello lybrate-user, first I want to congratulate. Actually third trimester of pregnancy is safe period for treatment. If it is painful for you then go for removal of your wisdom tooth. For temporary relief you can rinse with warm water by adding salt in it. But it is only for temporary relief.

The teeth is not small one, it is quite large because most of the part is still inside the bone. You please get an iopa x-ray done for your teeth and please show that xray toa qualified dentist. For pain relief you can take lyser-d twice daily.

It can't be a milk tooth as normally milk teeth are shed by the age of 13-14 years. If it has sensitivity even after filling then there might be necessity to change filling or may be rct and cap might only solve this problem.

Hi,
You will require an x ray done for the tooth and check the position of the wisdom tooth. It may require extraction or if the cause is the tooth just in front of it then a filling or root Canal should help.

To rule out infection you will need to check the area around the tooth. It will be swollen, red and painful to touch if it's infected.

It's always better to get it checked as other teeth in the area might also give pain if there is decay. It may or may be visible clearly.
