Pre-surgical hearing test is a must to compare that with post surgical status. Now you r not sure wheather you got any result out of the surgery or not, but you have nothing to compare with. Anyways now go for audiometry test and see the current status. And yes wait for some more time, sometimes healing process takes time. Give feedback if it helps.

The outcome of the surgery done depends on the disease for which it was done. Moreover, the technique used to do mastoidectomy will also decide the cause of hearing loss. You may need another surgery depending on the details as I told and need to discuss with your ENT surgeon who did the surgery for you.

Dir, the success rate of tympanoplasty in the best of hands is about 90 to 95 percent. There can be a lot of reasons for failure. Postoperative infection or cold is a grey common reason for failure. You will have to undergo the surgery again.

Allegra works only for allergy related problems. If vertigo is main complaint. It is better to have a thorough examination and consultation with certain tests with ent surgeon who also specialises in vertigo. This will help detect the cause related to ear, sinus etc. If the problem is not related to ent. Then another detail consultation with a physicain - internal medicine is necessary.
