I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you.
If the air in your home is particularly dry, your nasal passages and throat could dry out during the night, causing you to wake with a scratchy or sore throat. It's common for indoor air to be dry during the winter months. Running your heating system during the night dries it out further.
Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.

An allergic reaction to food, animals, pollen, mold, and more can cause throat irritation. Dry weather, dehydration, and muscle strain from yelling or talking too much could be the cause of your throat pain. A sore throat can also be symptomatic of the flu, hiv, cancer, and more.

Dear lybrate-user, you have not given a proper history ,whether she has fever or not. Treatments of just pain killers are to be best avoided because they do more harm than any good to the body. You must therefore consult a good ent specialist at the earliest. Yours sincerely.
