Yes now a days there are alternative of braces is aliners. But it depends on the severity. Removable appliances may also correct slight malocclusions.

Your problem seems to be supra eruption of upper front teeth which must be evaluated by a dental xray and related diagnosis (due to developing diastema, periodontistis, abscess, cyst or tumors etc.). Removal of the tooth is not the best treatment and not advised at all since there are plenty of treatment options available (enameloplasty, composites, componeers, RCT, crowns, etc. Depending upon diagnosis), tooth removal will be last resort to overcome your problem. As your age is 16 there is no chance for eruption. You should visit to a dentist as soon as possible so that your dentist will explain the procedure of implant and bridge as well. You can go for any of the option.
