I feel --it is not a cause of concern--kindly check whether you have dandruff ;lice infestation or any minor scratch injuries on your scalp or any ear infection recently .if so-- it is due to that .also check --is it hard; attached to skin or underlying structures ;have irregular surface ;growing quickly ;pain or tenderness in it------if so kindly consult a surgeon soon. it shows probably infected / inflammatory as there is preserved fatty hilum. No need of biopsy now. As a clinician more history is needed to arrive at diagnosis. No chance of malignancy.

you have not specified the location is the lymph nodes So it's difficult to tell whether it is something abnormal but swollen lymph nodes do suggest that body is going through some form of infection

Even with minor infections like cold. ,lymph nodes gets enlarged nothing to worry about it but if there is pain /and other symptom better consult nearby doctor.

Enlarged lymphnodes are only significant if they r more than 1 or 1.5 cm depending on site. If they r not that much enlarged then don't worry most probably everything is fine.
