Hello,
yes. They are same.
But only taking collagen peptide won't help in osteoporosis and knee pain.
You have to be started on some other medications also.
Sometimes knee pain is because of severe vitamin d3 deficiency. We need to run some blood tests also.

You need to take a combination of bisphosphonates, vitamin d3, calcium and vitamin b12, as well as increase water & protein intake. In combination with regular walks, your t-scores will improve over time (2-3 years). Cheers.
