Please avoid any exercise that can impact your joints or the back specifically. Please have patience and go slow. Yoga and swimming would be a better option than even gym for the time being. Hello Mr Roy. Pain in the back may be linked to the bony lumbar spine, discs between the vertebrae, ligaments around the spine and discs, spinal cord and nerves, lower back muscles, abdomen and pelvic internal organs, and the skin around the lumbar area. Pain in the upper back may be due to disorders of the aorta and spine inflammation. Do back exercises which will make your muscles relaxed.Take Arnica mother ticture 10 drops in a glass of water and drink it twice in a day. Let me know.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily.
Avoid bending in front.
Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall.
Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.
