Regards Lybrate user. Pain after exercise may occur due to overuse or improper use of weights during resistance training. It is recommended to regularly stretch after exercise session to avoid muscle soreness. Pain for 15 days might suggest that your muscle may be in protective spasm (i.e it holds tight and does not relax), hence when you use the muscle or stretch it, the muscle hurts.

Regards Lybrate user. The pain that you had mentioned could be termed as "referred pain" structures in abdomen are known to refer pain to left or right shoulder. Cold compresses. Cooling also helps can help reduce swelling in the area to numb sharp pain. Apply an ice pack for up to 20 minutes, up to five times a day. Use a frozen gel pack, ice cubes in a plastic bag, or a bag of frozen peas. Wrap the cold pack in a soft towel. Do not apply a cold pack directly to skin.

heat helps to relax tense muscles and soothe a stiff area. It can help with muscle pain and bonny pain. Use a heated gel pack, heating pad or a hot water bottle.
