Yes it can be dental caries.
Take proper check up.
The sensitivity will not go by using any toothpaste.
Take proper treatment.

Scaling, polishing of the teeth.
Application of desensitizing paste and mouthwash.
Filling of the decayed tooth.
Some times lasers can help.
Avoid sour food and drink.
Get an examination of full mouth by dentist.

Sensodyne tooth paste.

First of all proper brushing technique should be followed. If sensitivity not subsiding with toothpaste then go for dental treatment.

Sensodyne repair and protect is a good gel to use for sensitive teeth. But my advise is do not use it like a regular tooth paste for brushing ideally for its proper action apply it on your teeth and leave it for 3-5 minutes for the complete result. And use it in the same way twice daily for atleast 2-3 months.

These gels should not be used for a long time only as per indication they should be used but yes you can use clove oil for toothache but only for a short period of time.

Usually sensitivity lasts for a week but may prolong in few patients. If you are still facing sensitivity start using sensodyne repair and protect for a month twice daily. Apply it and leave on your teeth for 3-4 minutes and than normal brushing. You can surely continue having orange for time being if the sensitivity is more avoid eating or drinking extreme temperature things

There might be deep cavity. Kindly get it checked by dentist so that treatment can be done accordingly.

Continue with the medications as usual as prescribed by your dentist ,and start using thermoseal ra toothpaste or sensoform toothpaste, sensitivity after root canal treatment is normal after few days of the treatment, donot worry.

Definitely this is possible to re rct of that supporting tooth. The chance of the bridge being damage at that time is less.
