Swami ramdev reports patients have benefited by anulomvilom pranayama. You will have to close and open your son' nostrils with your hand. I hope if you do it there will be definite improvement. Otherwise, medicines are the last resort with little success so why not try pranayama that might benefit just as other mental health problems.

It depends, if there is any ongoing stress, or any disorder creeping in like anxiety, depression. You can ascertain that by consulting a psychologist and discussing in detail. You sure not have adhd if there were no such difficulties in childhood. For time being you can start with meditation. Discuss your issues with psychologist for best management.

Use of stimulant decreases the symptoms to a much good effect and if we don't give stimulant medication there will be more of conduct disorder and progress in disease and for side effects we have to monitor the person and advice them accordingly.
