Hello, Dermaroller can be done at home but effect of 0.5 mm on face is minimal. Also microneedling is a better option than dermaroller as it causes some skin damage due to oblique skin entry. Better to get it done with dermatologist with numbing cream and sterile environment.

Hello, Dermaroller helps in areas where there is reduced hair density, not areas which are completely bald. You can try dermaroller and minoxidil for 6-8 sessions. The results are moderate.

Muscle dystrophy is a condition in which progressive weakness develops. Unfortunately no effective medicine available till now in modern medicine. Few centres are trying stem cell and gene therapy but all are under research process. Before saying it is dystrophy other causes of progressive muscle weakness like metabolic, and inflammatory muscle disease must be rule out. Because these conditions are treatable. Visit a neurologist and rheumatologist for proper evaluation.

Hello, Dermaroller can be used but causes more dermal damage as needles enter and exit obliquely alternatively microneedling with derma pen is better. Dermaroller for face you will need 0.75 or 1 mm it needs topical anesthetic cream and does cause pinpoint bleeding so a lot of sterility is required to prevent infection. Its not ideal to do it at home. Consult a dermatologist.
