Lumps under the chin are usually harmless. Most of the time, they’re caused by swollen lymph nodes. This swelling is typically triggered by an infection.
Cancer, cysts, abscesses, benign tumors, and other medical issues can also cause chin lumps. However, these causes are much rarer by comparison. Usually chin lumps go away on their own but if your chin lump is growing (a sign of a possible tumor)
your chin lump has been present for two weeks
your chin lump feels hard or doesn’t move...more

I feel --it is not a cause of concern--kindly check whether you have dandruff ;lice infestation or any minor scratch injuries on your scalp or any ear infection recently .if so-- it is due to that .also check --is it hard; attached to skin or underlying structures ;have irregular surface ;growing quickly ;pain or tenderness in it------if so kindly consult a surgeon soon. If not --show a doctor when you get time.

Usually, swollen lymph nodes aren't a reason to worry. Theyâre simply a sign that your immune system is fighting an infection or illness
but make sure the size does not grow or they are not painful if it is growing in size and painful then we might need biopsy
for further follow up consult on Lybrate.
