Dear lybrate-user. Smoking at any age increases the chances of lung cancer and heart and brain problems. Smoking destroys the lung cells and breathing is affected. Quit smoking. There is effect of coconut water on your lung. Coconut water cannot repair or clean lungs. Take care.

Only by using strong will power and avoiding all situations where you feel like smoking, avoiding friends who smoke and diverting mind by reading or chewing a gum and taking a walk when you crave for a smoke can all help. If you are an occasional smoker - with public messages, health awareness programs and your own doctors advice, you can quit. If you are a regular smoker, motivational therapy with a trained psychotherapist or a psychiatrist and enormous will power will help you quit. If you are a diseased smoker, consult a de addiction psychiatrist at the earliest. He may give you anti-smoking medications and de addiction treatment.

Listen its perfect the way you are, if you don't have any physical ailments concerning years lungs you she continue without smoking as you are already doing.
For better lung function you may join yoga or pranayam or practise some form of meditation and om chanting.

Kindly suggest how to quit smoking and clean lungs. As I smoke 5 to 6 cigarettes daily. Kindly help.
