lybrate-user ji, there is nothing to worry about. You can cure thyroid and cholesterol with your lifestyle. There is no question of taking any tension in this. Change your lifestyle. Walk as much as you can in the morning, you don't have to oily eat for a second and also take out half an hour for yoga in the morning and evening.

You do not have to take diet rich in one single component like too much protein or too much carbohydrates. Take a balanced diet which contains all the components in requisite amount. Try to reduce the total amount of calorie taken per day. Avoid butter, ghee and oil. Avoid high glycemic index food like white flour (maida), white bread, potato and sugary foods. Prefer green leafy vegetables and beans.
