By simply saying a Transphincteric Fistula; one can not say it a simple of complex. Generally Transphincteric Fistula is not a complex fistula. The anal fissure will take time to heal even after a sphincetrotomy. You should continue medications as advised and the fissure will take at least 2-3 weeks (reasonable expectation. Sometimes skin tags do form outside the anal opening which is acceptable. However if you have doubts you should visit the operating surgeon once again.

Yes taking plenty of water is good for health. Normally 2 litres is sufficient but in summer months or if your working envioronment is hot you can take 3 litres a day. Only thing is take water spread out throughout the day, not in one gulp you take 1 litres of water like that which is not good for health.
