Hi,
you have not mentioned which ligament is torn, please mention that secondly grade II tear generally can be treated with physiotherapy for 2-3 months extensively if there are no multiple injuries involved. Range and strength can only be gained with physiotherapy. Surgery, for now, is not recommended for you if you're into active sports.

Yes its possible to be associated ligament tear with medial tibial plateau fracture. MRI is taken to find out ligament injury. When a ligament (ACL or PCL) is completely torn or stretched beyond its limits, the only option is reconstructive knee surgery. Person who has knee pain or severe instability may choose to have it. But if the pain is not a problem, you may choose to skip the surgery and accept the risk of some lifelong instability in your leg. You may also opt for a custom-made brace.

Hi lybrate user , Maintaining muscle strength and flexibility can help prevent shoulder dislocations. Once your shoulder is dislocated, physiotherapy may help prevent you from dislocating it in the future. Through restoring your shoulder's range of motion and physical strength, your risk for dislocation decreases.

After acl reconstruction surgery, it typically takes several months for the graft used to replace the torn ligament to heal and integrate with surrounding tissues. During this time, the new acl graft is gradually remodeling and strengthening, but it may not reach its maximum strength until about 12 to 18 months post-surgery.
The strength of the reconstructed acl can also depend on factors such as the type of graft used (e.g. Autograft or allograft), surgical technique, rehabilitation protoco...more
