Since there is marrow contusion on the mri, it means that the bones are also affected. Best would no to rest your knees and do extensive physios. Use a brace to support the knee in the meanwhile. After 6 weeks of you still have pain or instability in the knees, consider arthroscopic surgery for both menisci and acl reconstruction.

You need some exercises. If medicines and exercises is not relieving your pain, then surgery may be needed. Arthroscopy surgeon would be best for you.

You have to take rest ,apply ice and wear the knee brace which your orthopedic must have advised you. Or else with grade 3 tear usual arthroscopic surgery is advised. But if you are under conservative treatment than strict rest, wear proper brace while walking for adl, apply ice 3-5 times, leg elevation, and ankle toe and static knee exercises daily.
