There is no harm in doing exercises, it's good for strengthening the pelvic floor muscles and correct method of doing is keeping a pillow in between both the thighs and tighten your urine pathway and hold it for 25 seconds like this 10 times thrice daily and pillow should be kept in between the thighs while doing.

What are the benefits of Kegel exercises for men?

Do some stretching exercises, like both hand upward ,then bend your body backward & forward, lateral bending side by side. Then twist your body. Left to right & right to left. Some breathing exercise should be done regularly.
