Start taking lots of fruits and vegetables. (green leafy vegetables have a good source of iron ). Try to eat grains and pulses which are natural (unpolished ). You can also take a few nuts and other dry fruits which can provide various types of vitamins and minerals. If needed you can also take a short course of suppliments (iron and vitamin supplements ). Do exercise everyday to keep yourself fit and energetic. Please revert after a few weeks.

Red meat, pork and poultry.
Seafood.
Beans.

Hi, you have to consume foods that are rich in Iron to recover from anemia. The good sources are skin out chicken, dark green leafy vegetables (especially spinach), legumes (navy beans, rajmah, lima beans), raisins, apricot, dried dates, oats, quinoa, flax seeds. Even red meat has high content of iron but it is not a heart friendly diet. Try to squeeze a lemon on the food before serving as vitamin-c helps in better absorption of iron from vegetarian sources.
