First of all.in most of the pt who are considerd themselve as of low BP are actually do not have especially in young age without any risk factor for heart disesse. Either they feel low or vague generalise weakness or they just measure their BP as below 120/80 & they attribute it bcz of low bp which is not true. Apply heat or cold
cold compresses can help reduce swelling in the area. Cooling also helps to numb. Apply an ice pack for up to 20 minutes, up to five times a day. Use a frozen gel pack, ice cubes in a sharp pain plastic bag, or a bag of frozen peas. Wrap the cold pack in a soft towel. Do not apply a cold pack directly to skin.

It will not be possible to find out the cause of your mother's problem without examining her or looking at any reports. The symptoms you have mentioned could be due to some heart related disease and you should get an ECG, chest x-ray, Echo, hemohlobin, RFT, LFT levels done and consult a cardiologist. They may advice you to get a angiography or stress echo done based on the reports of the above tests.
