Some antibiotics are needed and maybe incision and drainage if it does not respond to oral medicines. Are there related symptoms like fever etc? If you contact me, we can discuss in detail and initiate treatment.

Hello. Relax. Chalazion is a very small eyelid problem. There is no role for antibiotic eyedrop. Its size my or may not increase. There are three treatmemt options. 1. Medical treatment. Which includes warm compresses, lid massage from up to down (but as your chalazion is 3 yrs old. Less likely to benefir from medical treatment) 2. Intralesional steroid injection 3. Incision and drainage. (very simple. Hardly 5 minutes procedure. Dont afraid from surgery.

Sebaceous cyst usually does not need to be treated unless it is red ie inflammation is present or is causing a cosmetic problem.
Inflamed cysts usually are treated by draining the fluid and removing the shell that form the wall of the cyst.
Hope this answer helps u.

Hii Lybrate user,
kindly consult a physician or surgeon for proper evaluation and treatment. Your abscess may require surgical procedure like incision and drainage with medical management like antibiotics combined with symptomatic measures like sitz bath. Don't wait for it to get cured completely, it can lead to complications.

Sometimes draining occurs on its own, but generally it must be opened with the help of a warm compress or by a doctor in a procedure called incision and drainage (i&d).
Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment pl...more

Generally speaking, there are two surgical treatment options to remove the blood clot: burr hole drainage and craniotomy. During burr hole drainage, the neurosurgeon will create one or two small holes within the skull, followed by an incision in the dura if necessary, in order to drain the blood clot. Your doctor might advise surgical thrombectomy if you have a very large clot. Or, he or she may advise surgery if your blood clot is causing severe tissue injury. Surgery is not the only kind of tr...more
