Plus I am unable to understand what do you mean by "bumps on my tongue". What is your weight and height? Have checked the lipid profile? Is theere any size increase in thyroid gland? Please come back with specific answers or full information. Hypothyroidism is a hormone(Thyroxine) deficiency, i...more

Dear lybrate-user,
it looks like you had subclinical hypothyroidism during pregnancy.in this condition thyroid problem may resolve after delivery particularly as the dose of thyroxine needed was only 25 ug during pregnancy. Now that you are 4 months post delivery, it is better to stop eltoxine tablet and recheck free t4, tsh and tpo antibodies after 3 months and take an online appointment

For most women who develop postpartum thyroiditis, thyroid function eventually returns to normal — typically within 12 to 18 months of the start of symptoms. However, some women who experience postpartum thyroiditis don't recover from the hypothyroid phase.

Dear lybrate-user,
I note that your hypothyroidism is under good control on 37.5 ug thyronorm. Please continue the same dose. I am glad that you are reducing weight with diet and exercise.
Regarding your palpitation, this can occur if your dose is too much but from your test reports it appears that your dose is ok.
I suggest that you consult me online so that we can come to a clear diagnosis and then proceed. If you send your email id I will send you a proforma to fill up your smptom...more
