To control serum uric acid low purine diet is recommended. Non vegetarian diets are rich source of purines. Cold drinks, beer, wine soda should be avoided. Vegetarin diets are not very rich source of purines but vegetables like spinache, mushroom, cauliflower, green peas are rich source and should be avoided, same is true for whole moong, chana, tur. Bread, biscuits. Dailry products can be taken in moderation.

Consuming coffee (nescafe) will not reduce uric acid levels in blood. It is believed that coffee and tea consumption may affect uric acid levels but only one study has been conducted to date. The results showed that levels of uric acid in the blood significantly decreased with increasing coffee intake, but not with tea intake.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
It is difficult to predict how long will it take to bring down uric acid level. But usually along with dietary restrictions the drug needs to be taken well over 6 months to see the benefits. Thanks

Don't eat sugar and avoid sugar-sweetened drinks. Eating more protein is a great long-term strategy to reduce belly fat. Cut carbs from your diet. Eat foods rich in fiber, especially viscous fiber. Exercise is very effective at reducing belly fat.
