- blood pressure if mildly raised can be controlled by dietary precautions, doing regular exercise, proper uninterrupted sleep at night & keeping stress levels low
- avoid fried & junk foods, also reduce tea, coffee intake to 1-2 cups if you have more, have a salt restricted diet, avoid namkeens, papads & pickles, also alcohol & smoking if you do
- have more of fruits, vegetables & whole grains instead of refined ones
