Dear user. I can understand. With today's lifestyle, it is almost impossible to avoid STRESS. Each person experiences stress in a different way and can tolerate different levels of stress. For some work is a source of stress while for others it could be strained relationships or financial trouble. Stress is simply a reaction to a stimulus that disturbs our physical or mental equilibrium. In other words, it's an omnipresent part of life. A stressful event can trigger the “fight-or-flight” respon...more

Hye.
Thankyou for the query. Any exercise done with discipline and committed mind always can calm a disturbed mind.
So, breathing exercises or pranayam or even other yogasanas which you would do to maintain physical fitness if done with the right attitude can help you develop calmness of mind.

Hello-
Fear of sex or sexual intimacy is also called “genophobia” or “erotophobia.” This is more than a simple dislike or aversion. It's a condition that can cause intense fear or panic when sexual intimacy is attempted. For some people, even thinking about it can cause these feelings.

Be open with your partner. Talking with your partner about your anxiety can help ease some of your worries.
Get intimate in other ways. Learn how to be intimate without sexual intercourse.

Dear Mr. lybrate-user, I am assuming that it was not a psychiatrist that you consulted. Having frequent worries, being unable to sleep and feeling restless in your mind are all symptoms that suggest an anxiety disorder which can easily be controlled with the correct treatment. From the medicines you were given, it seems that a psychiatrist had not assessed you. So my suggestion would be a psychiatry consult for the right help. All the best!
