Dear Mr. lybrate-user, I am assuming that it was not a psychiatrist that you consulted. Having frequent worries, being unable to sleep and feeling restless in your mind are all symptoms that suggest an anxiety disorder which can easily be controlled with the correct treatment. From the medicines you were given, it seems that a psychiatrist had not assessed you. So my suggestion would be a psychiatry consult for the right help. All the best!
