1. Do regular aerobic exercise for 1 hour daily (brisk walking, jogging, running, swimming, cycling etc)
2. Reduce weight if overweight
3control diet
a) avoid sweets, sugar/honey, milk, milk product excess calorie and carbohydrate rich diet like white bread, cereal, rice, pasta
b) avoid all refined food like maida, pasta, starchy food like rice, potato, bakery item, processed food,

Mr. Lybrate-user, if she has confirmed diabetes then there is no way of controlling that without any drugs either oral or insulin injections. Looking at her height and weight she has a bmi of 30.07 kgs/m2, suggesting she has grade 1 obesity. This itself can upset her blood glucose levels. Mr. Lybrate-user, tingling and numbness these are symptoms of diabetes causing peripheral neuropathy, not because of diabetes treatment. If the symptom is trouble some then get tested for presence of neuropathy and if need be take some drugs for that. Thanks for the question.
