Avoidance of high fatty food which is basically oily stuff with ghee, butter or oil is to be avoided for reduction of cholesterol level. This is the best remedy. You don't reduce anything by adding something to it. You reduce it by diminishing it from the body by means of reduction it in your diet.

Mr. lybrate-user, Bariatric surgery is usually advised when there is morbid obesity with a BMI of over 40 kgs/M2. Plus with that surgery diabetes can be well controlled may also go away provided the surgery is done within 5 years. At your weight (height is not mentioned) surgery is unlikely to be needed. There are other drug options like SGLT-2 inhibitors in addition to present treatment. Thanks.

However, the medicines will gradually start getting omitted once you maintain your ideal body weight by following good diet and exercise regime.

Mr. lybrate-user, For effective treatment of diabetes one has to either take oral antidiabetic drugs or Insulin injections or both. Otherwise, no other drugs (ayurvedic.
